A comparison between the carriage prints of Maldon, Essex by Henry Denham SMA SGA
painted in the early 1950s and the current scene today, photographed in January 2001.

Very little has changed in this landscape scene, situated at the Hythe, Maldon by the River Blackwater.
Even the paddling pool and the hut on the left still remain. Various old boats are now being restored along the quayside.
